ARTIST PROFILE

• Lives and works in Sydney, studied City Art Institute/COFA in the 1980s

• Exhibited painting and sculpture regularly since, including eight solo shows.

• Numerous group shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

• Represented in private collections throughout the world.

• Temporary public art installations include Sculpture by the Sea (Bondi), Art and About, and HarbourSculpture

• Recipient of Sculpture by the Sea 2005 Art Gallery Society of NSW award, selected by Edmund Capon, for

• Involved with Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras for over 20 years, most recently as Creative Consultant, Parade 2014

• Freelance scenic work for a range of clients, including Vogue Australia and fashion designers such as Collette Dinnigan, camilla and marc, Peter Alexander

• Highly Commended in the Blake Prize 2012 for a collaborative work with Sue Saxon, made from whole eggshells & lights

• Currently working as Scenic Workshop Manager for Sydney New Year’s Eve, City of Sydney, since 2007

• Subject matter ranges through landscape, animals and the natural world, with the occasional dabbling in portraiture
